Merchant of Record Notice
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for OmniStudent Pro subscription purchases. Because Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record, all billing inquiries, disputes, and refund requests are managed by Paddle.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1 Refundable Charges
You may request a refund for your OmniStudent Pro subscription within 30 days of charge for the following reasons:
- Accidental/duplicate charge
- Unauthorized purchase
- Technical issues preventing service access
- Unintended subscription upgrade
2.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Change of mind after 30 days
- Buyer's remorse
- Charges from a different billing period (older than 30 days)
- Subscriptions actively used for more than 14 days
- Feature requests or unmet expectations
- Technical issues caused by your device setup or network
3. How to Request a Refund
3.1 Contact Paddle Directly
Since Paddle is the Merchant of Record, you must submit refund requests to Paddle:
- Visit Paddle's support page
- Provide your order ID and transaction details
- Explain your refund reason clearly
- Paddle typically responds within 5 business days
3.2 Alternative: Contact OmniStudent
If you prefer, you can contact OmniStudent first and we'll assist in forwarding your request to Paddle. However, Paddle has final authority on all refund decisions.
Email: TBD
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Timeline
- Paddle Review: 3–5 business days
- Approval Notification: Email from Paddle
- Refund to Original Payment Method: 5–10 business days
4.2 Partial Refunds
OmniStudent does not offer prorated partial refunds. You receive a full refund for the charge, or no refund at all (per Paddle's determination).
4.3 Subscription Cancellation After Refund
If your refund is approved, your Pro subscription will be canceled automatically. You will revert to the free tier. To cancel manually without requesting a refund, visit your account settings in OmniStudent.
5. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment method without first requesting a refund through Paddle, this may result in:
- Your OmniStudent account being suspended or terminated
- Additional fees imposed by Paddle
- Loss of access to your subscription
We strongly recommend requesting a refund through Paddle's official process before disputing with your payment provider.
6. Paddle's Refund Authority
As our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com has final authority over all refund decisions. OmniStudent does not have the ability to override Paddle's refund determinations. This is part of being a reseller under Paddle's model.
For detailed information on Paddle's refund policies, visit Paddle's Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Upgrades & Downgrades
7.1 Upgrading Plans
If you upgrade your plan mid-month, charges are prorated. No refund is issued for this difference; you simply pay the difference for the remainder of the billing period.
7.2 Downgrading Plans
You can downgrade to the free tier at any time. Access to Pro features continues until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for downgrading mid-period.
8. Contact & Support
For refund requests: Contact Paddle.com directly (they are the Merchant of Record).
For OmniStudent service issues: Email TBD
9. Policy Changes
OmniStudent reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
This Refund Policy is designed for compliance with consumer protection standards and Paddle's Merchant of Record requirements.
